mock pleat transforming skirt
Inspiration
I have always loved the idea of creating a transforming piece of clothing. My main inspiration for this skirt came from the classic ending of The Sleeping Beauty, where Aurora's dress transforms from blue to pink as she is dancing. I noticed that the blinds in my apartment showed two different sides of the same panel with the use of a lever. This “lever” could be incorporated into the waistband to hide the functions of the skirt.
